Carson County 100th Judicial Court hears four pleas

In January and February, four pleas took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Carson County.

Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the cases for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe, Jr., presiding.

Dario Josue Aguirre, 19, from Pasadena, Texas, was placed on two years’ probation for the third-degree felony offense of money laundering.

DPS Trooper Edgar Castillo arrested Aguirre on Aug. 22, 2025.  Aguirre pleaded to an information filed by the State on Nov. 5, 2025.

Aguirre was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, $305 in court costs, $180 in restitution, and 200 hours of community service. If revoked, Aguirre faces up to 10 years in prison.

Samuel J. Yansunu, 36, from Fresno, Calif., was placed on six years’ probation for the first-degree felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

100th District Attorney Traffic Enforcer Todd Gambol arrested Yansunu on Dec. 9, 2024.  Yansunu pleaded to an information filed by the State on Feb. 3, 2025.

Yansunu was also ordered to pay a $15,000 fine, $305 in court costs, $180 in restitution, and complete 400 hours of community service. If revoked, Yansunu faces up to 99 years or life in prison.

Douglas Dean McKinley, 49, from Ponca City, Okla., was placed on two years’ probation for the third-degree felony offense of failure to appear.

McKinley failed to appear for court in Carson County on Oct. 22, 2024.  The Carson County Grand Jury indicted McKinley on June 6, 2025.

McKinley was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, $450 in attorney fees, $340 in court costs, and 200 hours of community service. If revoked, McKinley faces up to 10 years in prison.

Keith O’Neal Green, 44, from Groom, Texas, was placed on ten years’ probation for the second-degree felony offense of failure to comply with sex offender registration.

Carson County Sheriff’s Captain Chris Richardson arrested Green on Sept. 2, 2025.  The Carson County Grand Jury indicted Green on Dec. 4, 2025.

Green was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine, $500 in attorney fees, $305 in court costs, and complete 300 hours of community service. If revoked, Green faces up to 20 years in prison.
