Collingsworth County 100th Judicial Court hears two pleas

In January and February, 2026, two pleas took place in the 100th Judicial District Court regarding Collingsworth County cases.

Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the cases for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe, Jr., presiding.

Alfred Ronald Fraser III, 33, from Wellington, Texas, was sentenced to seven years in prison for the second-degree felony offense of sexual assault of a child.

DPS Texas Ranger Matt Ferguson arrested Fraser for the offense that occurred on Oct. 4, 2024.  The Collingsworth County Grand Jury indicted Fraser on June 5, 2025.

Fraser was also ordered to pay $376 in court costs and register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.

Mary Lou Beebe, 42, from Wellington, Texas, was placed on two years’ probation for the third-degree felony offense of assault on a public servant.

Collingsworth County Deputy Kristen Dwight arrested Beebe for the offense that took place on March 28, 2025. The Collingsworth County Grand Jury indicted Beebe on June 6, 2025.

Beebe was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, $450 in attorney fees, and $376 in court costs. If revoked, Beebe faces up to 10 years in prison.
