Very few people get the opportunity to rise to the occasion and earn the title of hero. Glen was a kind, empathetic, loving, non-judgmental, fun-loving hero. Glen was a hero everyday for everyone he came into contact with. Sometimes it was sharing his big smile and a hug. Sometimes it was a listening ear. Sometimes it was a “hey, you can do better” talk. He had an ability to know what each person needed, and he lived to give unconditionally. His job is done, and he has gone home. He left this world a better place for many, many people. The only thing Glen loved more than jokes and animals, was his family.

He was proceeded in death by grandmothers Billie Hayes and Tommie Scott; and stepmother, Linda Martin.

He is survived by his inseparable best friend, love of his life, and wife of 18 years, Dana Martin and her children Ariel Carrillo and Prestin “Tucker” Sherman; his parents, Diana Scott and Larry Martin; brothers, Daven Martin and his wife and children, and Christopher Martin and his children, and James Brewer and his numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and friends.
