Childress County Judicial District Court – Oct. 15, 2025
Childress – On Wednesday, Oct. 15, one plea took place in the 100th Judicial District Court, via the internet-based meeting app Zoom.
Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe Jr., presiding.
Jose Luis Flores, 33, from Fort Worth, Texas, was placed on six years probation for the second degree felony offense of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.
Flores was arrested by Childress Police Officer James Palmitier on July 2. Flores pleaded to an information filed by the State on July 30.
Flores was ordered to pay a $6,000 fine, $340 in court costs, $500 in attorney’s fees, $180 lab fee, and complete 300 hours of community service. If revoked, Flores faces up to 20 years in prison.
