Skyler Evan Riggs get probation for organized criminal activity

On Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, one plea took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Carson County.

Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe presiding.

Skyler Evan Riggs, 27, from Amarillo, Texas, was placed on four years probation for the third degree felony offense of engaging in organized criminal activity.

Riggs was arrested by Carson County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Richardson on Oct.25, 2024. Riggs was indicted by a Carson County Grand Jury on June 5.

Riggs was ordered to pay a $500 fine, $305 in court costs, $450 in attorney’s fees, and complete 200 hours of community service. If revoked, Riggs faces up to 10 years in prison.
