Garza receives 3 years probation
On Wednesday, June 4, one plea took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Hall County.
Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe presiding.
Francisco Garza, 60 from Childress, was placed on three years probation for the third degree felony offense of indecency with a child by exposure.
Garza was arrested by Childress Police Officer Matthew Bradley, who is now the Childress County Sheriff, on April 9, 2020. Garza was indicted by a Childress County Grand Jury on Oct. 20, 2020.
Garza was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, $340 in court costs, $450 in attorney’s fees, complete 200 hours of community service, and register as a sex offender. If his probation is revoked, Garza faces up to 10 years in prison.
