Making ready for 68th Annual White Deer Rodeo

On Sunday morning, July 19, the White Deer Riding Club hung the Rodeo and Parade banners to begin some of the final touches for the 68th Annual White Deer Rodeo. The annual event is set to begin tomorrow evening, Friday, July 24, at 6:30 with a free barbecue dinner by Clint and Sons. Mutton Bustin’ and Calf Riding at the rodeo arena at 7 p.m., followed by the United Professional Rodeo Association Rodeo. The evening concluding with top entertainment by The Bellamy Brothers!

Saturday activities begin early with the annual Lions Club parade at 10 a.m., followed by Kick Back Day at the city park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with vendors, family, friends and good fellowship. Evening events at the arena begin at 7 p.m. with Mutton Bustin’ , Calf Riding and the 2026 Rodeo Queen Coronation. The UPRA Rodeo starts at 8 p.m., followed by the Rodeo dance with music by the Randy Rogers Band.
