Lahoma “Diane” Aubrey, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 28, 025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, at TP White & Sons Funeral Home in Mount Washington, Ohio. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, with Rev. Carter Pirtle, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating. Diane’s final resting place will be with many other family members in the White Deer Cemetery.

Born on Aug. 23, 1944 in Elk City, Okla., to Lahoma and John Aubrey, Diane lived a vibrant and adventurous life, marked by significant achievements and a deep devotion to her family. Diane’s life was defined by her diverse accomplishments and experiences. She attended school in Skellytown and White Deer. She worked toward earning a pilot’s license and owned her own business. She spent many years in retail, and earlier in her career. She worked as a fashion model, secretary and bookkeeper. Her adventures took her to many places, from Oklahoma to Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Kansas, and finally Ohio.

Above all, Diane’s heart belonged to her family and friends. Her home was filled with hundreds of mementos and photos in albums, boxes, and frames throughout her home, each capturing precious moments. These memories were her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Diane’s love was boundless, her spirit larger than life, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lahoma Paul; her father, John Aubrey; her stepfather, Silas Paul; her dear son, Mark Rexroat; and sisters-in-law, Annetta Aubrey and Darlene Paul.

Diane leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving son, Kevin Rexroat and wife Deanne; her brothers, Allen Aubrey, Rickey Paul and wife Gloria, Marvin Paul and David Paul; her cherished grandchildren, Whitney and husband Dan Wyatt, Austin Rexroat and wife Holly, Magan Arrington, Mathieu Arrington, Cecelia Arrington; and her adored great-grandchildren, Callie, Cooper and Crosley Wyatt, Baylor and Tate Rexroat, Tim Bruce, and Austyn and Nathaniel Arrington.
