Beverly Lynn Missildine, 84, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2025.

Services are private. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Beverly was born on Aug. 5, 1940, in Amarillo to Edna and Willard King. She was an active member of the Pentecostal Church, where she taught, played the piano, and sang. Beverly was known for her exceptional cooking skills and had a particular passion for baking, especially cakes. In addition to cooking, she enjoyed painting. Above all, Beverly cherished her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Eileene Lawless; husband, Bill Missildine; and four brothers, Willard Prentice King, Donnie King, Michael Alan King, and Billy King.

Survivors include her son, Stacey Ince and wife Paula; grandchildren, Danielle and husband Mark Godinez, Christina and husband Nick Darnell, and Ethan Ince; great-grandchildren, Rylee Darnell, Emma Darnell, Chloe Darnell, Ashton Godinez, and Haven Godinez; her sister, Demarius and husband Donald Putman of Panhandle; and brother, Roy King.
