65 Years of Love: The Powers celebrate a milestone anniversary

Lewis and Tommie Kay Powers celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary on June 24. They were married in 1961 at the Methodist Church by Reverend Marvin Menefee.

They were joined in the celebration by Kevin and Jowannah Powers of Panhandle, Lewetta and Robert Hefley of Texline and Kelley and Tad Smith of Pampa, their eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
