Flores gets three years probated sentence for assault
On Monday, June 23, one plea took place in the 100th Judicial District Court in Hall County.
Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe presiding.
Jacob Arron Florez, 27, from Wellington, Texas, was placed on three years probation for the third degree felony offense of assault family violence by strangulation.
Florez was arrested by Collingsworth County Sheriff’s Deputy Randy Bond, on March 25. Florez was indicted by a Collingsworth County Grand Jury on June 5.
Florez was ordered to pay a $3,000 fine, $376 in court costs, $450 in attorney’s fees, complete 200 hours of community service, and attend and complete an anger management program. If revoked, Florez faces up to ten years in prison.
