McAllister sentenced to 15 years in prison
On Monday, June 23, one plea took place in the 100th Judicial District Court, in Hall County.
Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, along with Assistant District Attorney Harley Caudle, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Dale Rabe presiding.
John Robert McAllister, 43, from Memphis, Texas, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for the third degree felony offense of credit card or debit card abuse of an elderly individual enhanced to a second degree felony. The offense took place in Hall County on Nov. 3, 2020.
McAllister was originally placed on five years probation on May 6, 2021.
On Dec. 11, 2024, the State filed its motion requesting the court to revoke McAllister’ probation, alleging three violations of his conditions of probation. McAllister pleaded true to the violations of his community supervision.
McAllister was also ordered to pay the remaining $500 fine, $305 court costs, and $3,656.92 restitution.
