1930 – 2025

Margaret Dunham, 95 years old, went to be with Jesus on May 25, 2025, in Amarillo.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. at New Life Church in Borger on Saturday, June 7.

Margaret was born Jan. 24, 1930, to Gladis and Julian Johnson near Putnam, Okla. She married Bill Dunham on Dec. 19, 1945. She had a master’s degree from West Texas College. She was a teacher and Annual Staff teacher for 25 years at Borger High School. She was very proud of her Native American heritage of the Potawatomi Tribe.

Margaret loved her family and was very caring and giving. She was devoted to the Lord.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Dunham; son, Leland Curtis; and son, Steve Dunham.

Survivors include her children, Mickey Dunham and husband Bill Warnock of Amarillo, Billy Dunham and wife Karla of Fritch; grandchildren, Abby Garrison and husband John of Lubbock, Chip Dunham and wife Melissa of Bushland, and Jason Dunham of Amarillo; great-grandchildren, Karlee Wilson of Borger, Rylee Wilkinson of Panhandle, Caleb Dunham of Amarillo, and Sadie Grace Dunham of Bushland; great-great-grandchildren, Hadley and Briar Wilson, Kodyn Dunham and Riggs Wilkinson.
