Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2019, at South Georgia Baptist Church. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
Vera was born June 1, 1925, in Carson County to William and Elsie Lusk. She grew up on the farm and graduated from Panhandle High School.
Vera drove the school bus for Panhandle, Canyon, Amarillo and Claude Independent School Districts.
The family gives special thanks to the staff at Accolade Hospice and Landmark of Amarillo for their love and care.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, L.C. Robinson; her husband, Raymond Crowell; twin sons, George and William Robinson; and son, Calvin Robinson.
Survivors include daughters, Annette and husband Mike Crowell of Claude, Marilyn and husband Paul Tarbet and Vonita and husband James Williams, all of Amarillo; sons, Richard Robinson and wife Mary, of Panhandle, Larry Robinson and wife Sherry, Wayne Robinson and wife Edythe, Tony Robinson and wife Melany, all of Amarillo and Garre Robinson and wife Lisa of Canyon; twenty-seven grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the funeral home, located at 2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo.
