He was born May 16, 1956 in Plainview, Texas, one of a set of triplets. He was always a gracious and giving man, making sure family came first and was proud to be known as Grumpy Grandpa! He was the BEST air traffic controller at San Antonio International Airport for 27 years, so much so, he was gladly burdened with training his inferiors to attaining his modest professionalism.
Samuel humbly accepted the title of Wetmore City Limits Supreme Leader and ultimate drink connoisseur. After becoming a bar league enthusiast, he quickly arose as the pool shooting expert and chief shuffleboard ace. As an avid disciple of education in the areas of religion and spirituality, he quickly became a mentor in human morals, political sense and all genres of trivia. He loved old movies, reading and all sports, rooting for his Cowboys no matter what, and always the Spurs!
