Roxie Leinenweaver, 66, of Rio Oso, Calif., a loving wife and mema, left us on April 21, 2014, as God called her to His side while she was surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Roxie was born July 19, 1947 in Los Angeles, and was a lifelong resident of the Yuba Sutter area.

Roxie was a member of East Nicoulaus Volunteer Fire Department for many years as well as a loving administrator for several assisted living facilities in the community. She was also the wife of a Mason.

Roxie spent her days loving her family and spending time with them. All the nieces and nephews knew her as a mother more than an aunt, as she was always willing to take them and do things with them. She taught all of her family how to be feisty and full of spirit with her ability to just lay it all out…above all, how to except anyone. These are the qualities that all of us will take with us forever and ever.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lonny Leinenweaver; her children, Lela Bigham of Panhandle, Kim Leinenweaver, Lonny Leinenweaver II; and her grandchildren, Haiden and Nate Spurling, Kapri, Joy and Roland Bigham.

Roxie was preceded in death by Lowell Andrew Mason Foster and Brianna Ann Nash.

Services will be today, May 1, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Latter Day Saints Church in Wheatland, Calif.

If anyone wishes to donate, please contribute to a college fund for her grandchildren.
