Memphis– On Tuesday, Sept. 10, one plea took place in the100th Judicial District Court at the Hall County Courthouse. District Attorney Luke Inman, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Stuart Messer presiding.
- James Michael Rhine, 51, pleaded true and was sentenced to nine months in the Hall County Jail for the Class A misdemeanor offense of possession of marijuana.
Rhine, from Arlington, Texas, was arrested in Hall County on March 20, 2018. Rhine originally pleaded on March 26, 2018, and received two years deferred adjudication when he pleaded to an information filed by the State.
The State filed its motion to adjudicate on June 3, 2019, alleging six violations of community supervision. In addition to the sentence, Rhine is also required to pay a $180 lab fee and $381 in court costs.
