Memorials services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Panhandle.
Regina was born on Jan. 9, 1957 in Memphis, Texas, to Mildred and Bobby Head. She attended school in Panhandle and graduated in 1975 from Panhandle High School. She also attended college and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Data Entry. As a child she earned many awards in Girl Scouts and Brownies. In elementary and middle school, she earned a “Penmanship Award.” She worked at Elhot Dairy Cream in Panhandle while attending high school. She loved basketball and played during her school years.
As an adult, she worked for Boys Ranch Rodeo, Maywood, Inc., and Amarillo Independent School District as a paraprofessional for many years. Later, she went on to open and manage an in-home day care for 13 years. She loved being involved in her children’s school lives and was involved in the PTA at Mesa Verde Elementary School.
Regina was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church of Amarillo. She was baptized on Aug. 13, 1967 at the First Baptist Church of Panhandle. She was an amazing mother and friend. Regina’s life revolved around her family and friends. She was a Christian woman who lived and strongly believed in her Lord, Jesus Christ. She loved working on the family tree. She enjoyed the Gaither Family and country music, with George Strait being her number one artist.
Preceding her in death are her daughter, Nancy Sue Perry in 1976; grandchildren, twins Maddy and Jermicha Hatcher in 2008 and Nevaeh Rose Johnston 2018; and brother-in-law, Tony Hail.
Regina’s survivors are her sons, Jason Allen Perry and wife, Rebecca and Timothy Allen Perry and wife. Angela, all of Pampa; daughter Susan Kay (Perry) and husband, Charles Johnston of Wilson, Texas; parents, Mildred and Bobby Head of Panhandle; siblings, Rejohna Hail, Mickey Head and wife, Debbie and Dickey Head and wife Sylvia; grandchildren, Jennifer, Charity, Zane, Mason, Tyler, Jaren, Zach, Rylee, Tyra, C.J., Lilli, Maggie, Malirie and Coleton; great-grandchildren, Emberleigh, Gunner and Bentley; many nieces and nephews; and many people who thought of her as a second mom.
