By Blair Brown, PISD Superintendent

It is that time again for our halls to be full of teachers and students. We are so blessed to have a community that supports the schools here in Panhandle. According to the school ranking website School Digger, Panhandle ISD is ranked 204 out of 952 districts in Texas. Our district is performing better than 79% of all the districts in Texas. Our elementary school is ranked 33 out of 4033 elementary schools in the state of Texas. They are performing better than 99% of all the elementary schools in Texas. The district is performing well and we are continually trying to get better.

We do have many new faces in our district this year and they are eager to work with your students. Please make plans to talk with them when you can. Our teachers and staff are compassionate and professional people. They want to talk to you about your children. Here is a list of our new employees or employees that have changed assignments.

Thank you.
