Finishing Area Meet rankings for the girls teams were Sunray with 114 points for second; Wellington took third place with 97 points. Rounding out team scoring were: 4. Stratford 73; 5. Gruver 51; 6. Clarendon 42; 7. Memphis 24; 8. Sanford-Fritch 21; 9. Stinnett West Texas 16; 10. Amarillo Highland Park 12; 11. Wheeler 8; and 12. Boys Ranch 5.

Boys teams rankings were Wheeler and Wellington with 90 points each, tying for second place. Other rankings were: 4. Stinnett West Texas 64; 5. Gruver 59; 6. Sunray 56; 7. Sanford-Fritch 42; 8 Stratford 35; 9. Clarendon and Amarillo Highland Park tying with 24 points; 11. Boys Ranch 24; and 12. Memphis 15.

The top four Varsity Girls and Boys in each event advance to the Regional Track Meet on April 26-27 at South Plains College in Levelland.
