The Panhandle High School Boys and Girls Golfers traveled to Childress on March 27, to compete in the first round of the District 2-2A Golf Tournament held at Stoney Ridge Golf Course.

The Ettes finished in third place with a team total of 433. The Ettes were nine strokes out of second place. Individual results were Sara McMinn 93; Brayleigh McGill 101; Kinley Hammer 117; Ashleigh George 122; and Maycie Hammer 124.

The Panthers A Team finished in first with a team total of 363. Individual results were Sean McMinn 77; Griffin Fields 78; Logan McCoid 83; Josh Prather 89; and Carter Neil 90.

The Panthers B Team finished in second with a team total of 390. Individual results were Levi McGill 89; Gauge Hackett 99; Alex Kuehler 101; and Cade Swinford 101.

Individual players were Joe Smith 113; Baylee Ogletree 119; and Locke Williams 125.

The final round of District is on Monday, April 8, at Comanche Trails Tomahawk Course in Amarillo.

The top two teams and top two individuals not on qualifying teams will advance to the UIL Regional Golf Tournament at Ratliff Ranch Golf Links in Odessa. The boys will play on April 22-23 and the girls will play on April 24-25.
