The Academic UIL team competed at Clarendon College on Thursday, March 28, and with a combined score of 378, fell just short of first place. Wheeler won with a total of 394, Wellington scored 323, Clarendon 289, Highland Park 240 and Memphis 28. Those scores include points from the OAP advancing in each round and CX Debate advancing to State.

The top three in each event advances to the UIL Regional Academic Competition on April 12-13 at Odessa College. The following students placed in their individual events. (* denotes a Regional qualifier)
