Pam Ware spread her heavenly wings on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020. Pam was born on March 8, 1954 to Joy and Alton Minze in Corsicana, Texas. She was welcomed into the world by her older brother, Edward Minze.

As Pam grew, she enjoyed spending time outdoors. Her dad would often spend hours ironing her hair so she looked just right. She especially loved spending time on the beach. Her adventurous nature led to many adventures. Eventually, Pam made her way to the Texas Panhandle. It was here that Pam made her home and raised her family. She was always quick to laugh and was fun to be around. She made every gathering into a party.

Pam loved her children and her grandchildren fiercely. Mom was one of her favorite roles in life. Raising Jason, Jenifer and Candice was Pam’s greatest life adventures. She would spend hours cooking big meals. In fact, she was famous for her potato salad and no family gathering was complete without it. As her kids grew, Pam would often work two jobs just to make sure they had everything they needed or wanted. Her last work adventure included traveling to Dallas as a purchasing agent for Advanced Display Systems.

Pam was so proud of her kids and their accomplishments. She was especially proud to show off her grandkids. She was blessed with the opportunity to care for her grandchildren in her home. After working so hard to raise her own children, Pam enjoyed getting to spoil Lydia, Cooper, Kynzlee, Briggs, Beckett and Raegan. She was excited and blessed when she was able to add Caylee, Hayden and Rylee to her brag list. Pam, now known as Granny, was always first in line to host the grandkids’ New Year’s Eve Party. She definitely knew how to make the holidays special and loved ringing in the New Year surrounded by her favorite little people.

Being Granny was one of Pam’s greatest joys, but she always had a listening ear for her children. Pam had the honor of caring for her parents in their later years. She was patient and worked hard to love and care for their needs. Pam always put the needs of her family before her own. She left a legacy of hard work and fierce love with everyone who knew her. Pam never let her family out do her, ending every conversation with, “I love you more.”

Pam was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joy and Alton Minze.

She is survived by her brother, Edward Minze and family; her cherished children, Jason Norsworthy and wife Marissa, Jenifer and husband Jeremy Hill and Candice Ware; and her beloved grandchildren, Lydia and Cooper Norsworthy, Kynzlee and Briggs Martin, Beckett, Caylee, Hayden and Rylee Hill and Raegan Ware.

The family of Pam Ware remembered her life and legacy on Feb. 17 at the Conway Community Church on the grounds of the Square House Museum, 500 Elsie Street, Panhandle, Texas.
