Meet Your Neighbor

We really are trying to be fair with our male/female ratio of subjects highlighted in “Meet Your Neighbor.” Two weeks ago, we featured a female, but this week’s article is focused on another female because we were unable to contact our guy.

This week’s subject is a beautiful young lady, who is 15 years old. Several of you know this girl, because she can be seen around town helping her parents with yard work. And…she IS a worker! Kudos to her parents who have instilled in her an incredible work ethic. She does what needs to be done, and she does it well!

Even though she is the only child at home, her doting parents have not spoiled her. She EARNS her allowance.

She has been helping her parents with their lawn service since she was big enough to hold a rake. She said she mostly mows now, but she also does garden work. Her mom has a good-sized vegetable garden in their back yard, which she helps to maintain.

This blue-eyed beauty is known for being extremely photogenic, her mother’s favorite subject. You can see why!

She plays the flute in the Pride of Panhandle high school band. She likes to listen to hip-hop and American rock music. Her favorite band is “Lincoln Park.” She loves to ride four-wheelers, read and draw in her spare time. She’s also taking a driver’s education course.
Being an animal lover, she adores her orange and white cat, Tux. She explained his name by describing a white “v” on his chest that makes it look like he’s wearing an orange tuxedo.

This young lady says she will technically be considered a junior this year in high school, because she plans to graduate early so she can get on with her college. Her goal is to become a veterinarian. She said she’d like to go to school in Phoenix, Arizona.

Be on the lookout for this sweet, pretty girl. You may find her behind the wheel of one of her parents’ vehicles practicing her driving skills, pushing a lawn-mower in someone’s yard or sitting on her front porch with her best friend, Tux, listening to “Lincoln Park.”
