Lou Turley, 1953-2012

Lou Turley, 59, of Amarillo died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 28, in Llano Cemetery East with the Rev. Ken Haney, chaplain, officiating. Arrangements were by Cox Funeral Home of Amarillo.

Lou was born June 17, 1953, in Trinidad, Colo. She loved dancing and Betty Boop. Lou will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Turley; nine children, Michelle Gonzalez and Kristian Gonzalez, both of Panhandle, Cheryl Sims of Claude, and Billy Joe Cain, Curtis Cain, Danny Cain, Robin Zamarron, Melanie Cain and Lesa Burnam, all of Amarillo; three sisters, Billie Jean Delaney, Shirley Altig and Maria Jones, all of Amarillo; a brother, Robert Cain of Amarillo; and 20 grandchildren.
