Degrees were officially conferred on 858 West Texas A&M University students during fall commencement exercises on Dec. 16 at the First United Bank Center.

The University awarded 585 baccalaureate degrees and 273 master’s degree. The graduating class represented 37 states, eight countries and more than 100 Texas cities and towns.

Locals graduating in the fall class were Alyssa Grace Crawford with a Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN); Morgan Elizabeth Deen with a Bachelor of Business Administration – General Business; Phillip Michael Detten with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences; Jessica Kristin Hernandez with a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS); Jeremy Ryan Jones with a Bachelor of Science – Sports and Exercise Science; Keylee Renae Mayfield with a BSN; and Elijah Paul Powers with a BGS.
