Linda was born Oct. 7, 1955, she was 66 years old. Linda grew up on a farm near Panhandle. She helped with all the work that goes into farming. She graduated from Panhandle High School in 1974. Shortly after graduating high school, Linda joined the United States Army and served three years. She was stationed in Germany for a brief time before receiving an honorable discharge.
Linda worked at Pantex for several years before her retirement. Linda had a farm near Canyon and lived there until her death. She never married, but was “MaMa” to many sheep, calves, chickens, ducks and kittens. She enjoyed reading and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents Ima Lee and Varl Wagner; brother, James Wagner; sister, Carol Wagner Takach; brother-in-law, Bob Takach; and her grandmother, Ollie B. Goodman.
Her survivors include Rhonda Folkner and husband of Amarillo; Sandra Hayes of Amarillo; Chris Wagner of Canyon; Lisa Wagner of Amarillo; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation is under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors on March 6, 2022 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at The River Church, located at 600 Euclid in Panhandle.
