Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer with Fr. Hrudaya Raju Kondamudi officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Kay was born March 14, 1953 in Paris, Ark. to Louise and Floyd Catlett. She graduated high school in 1971. Kay was a member of the School Sisters of St. Francis in Panhandle, where she obtained her degree in nursing. On Aug. 15, 1981, she married Eric Haiduk in White Deer. Kay has been a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer since 1981. Kay and Eric had two sons and a daughter, and she was able to stay home and raise her children. She never missed an event or a game, as she loved to support them in all in their interests and activities. Kay served as Director of Nurses at St. Ann’s Nursing Home in Panhandle for many years before her stroke 13 years ago. Kay always put others first and loved to help in anyway possible. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her stepfather, Arthur Moon.
Survivors include her husband, Eric of the home; two sons, Alberic Haiduk and wife Georgia of White Deer and Brendan Haiduk and wife Julia of Norman, Okla.; daughter, Therese Haiduk of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Wanda MacLachlan and husband Wayne of Oceanside, Calif. and Tawana Canada of Santa Ana, Calif.; two grandchildren, Alice and Oliver Haiduk; four step-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
