Kathy "Duck" Anderson Holt, 69, passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021.

A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Panhandle.

Kathy was born Feb. 27, 1952 in Dimmitt, Texas to Katherine Scheller and Bazil Anderson. She married the love of her life Leonard Holt on June 9, 1970 in Panhandle. Kathy had a strong Christian faith, and did her best to show as many people as she could the Jesus that she loved so dearly. She truly had a servant's heart, serving her fellow man, always making sure folks had food to eat and tea in their fridge. Kathy was full of grace and kindness, she just loved people. An avid reader, she also enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, baking and cooking. In fact, she used to cater various events for people. She was an extremely creative person and liked to paint, draw and even did some woodworking.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Bazil Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard of Panhandle; sons, Dugan Holt and wife Shelby of Fort Worth and Jonathan Holt and wife Valarie of Bushland; daughters, Kathryn and husband Clay Sims of Panhandle, Sarah and husband Jeff Rash of White Deer; grandchildren, Dugan Holt II, Regan Holt, Morgan Holt, Hannah Holt, Madison Holt, Joshua Brown and wife Carliegh, Cole Sims and wife Sarah, Jacey and husband Alex Nixon, Mariah Mooney and husband Logan, Tye Chaney, Teyah Whatley, Joseph Rash, Eli Rash; great-grandchildren, Emryn, Zechariah, Adaline, Katie due to arrive on Dec. 2,2021, Prudence due to arrive Feb. 1, 2022, and Vance; brothers, Mike Anderson and wife Diane of Dallas, Malcom Anderson and wife Connie of Fort Cobb, Okla.; sisters, LaQuita and husband Stewart Labus of Amarillo, Cindi and husband Johnny Platt of Pampa, Rebecca and husband Scott Rusk of Panhandle; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
