Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Lifeway Fellowship Church with Randy Davis officiating.
Jerry was born Jan. 13, 1941, in Erik, Okla., to Howard and Dorothy Mansel. He left his earthly home on Oct. 18, 2013.
Jerry received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from West Texas State University. He was a licensed CPA in Texas. He served in the Army as a military policeman from October 1963 to October 1965. While in the Army, He was an expert marksman and competed in tournaments, often winning medals.
Jerry worked at Eastridge Lanes and loved bowling. He was an avid golfer and spent every weekend watching golf on TV.
Jerry was a beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have him in their life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dorothy Mansel.
Survivors include his wife, Lou Mansel; a brother, Don Mansel and wife Ann of Panhandle; and a sister, Mary Helen Rose of Groom.
