Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church in Hedley with the Rev. Bruce Howard officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Jeannette was born Sept. 1, 1927, in Lakeview to John Percy and Martha Haskett Vaughn. She married Ed Floyd on March 25, 1944, in Hedley.
She had been a resident of Hedley most of her life and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hedley. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1986; a son, Gene Floyd; a grandson, Wyatt Roberts; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Floyd and wife Kim of Baconton, Ga.; three daughters, Janice Alexander and husband Gary of Memphis, Pat Peters and husband Eddie of Texarkana, Ark. and Janie Hill and husband Ronny of Hedley; 13 grandchildren including Tony Floyd and wife Jennifer of Hedley, Julie Sims of Panhandle, Kandy Pounds and husband Denny of Amistad, N.M., and Tammy Whitley and husband Odis of Miami; 38 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Hedley Senior Citizens or Rowe Cemetery Association.
