Jason Keith Cartwright, 51, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 in Claude, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, in Claude Cemetery with Rev. Dick Gravely and Kevin Wood officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude.

Jason was born June 29, 1962 in Canyon to John and Jackie Coleman Cartwright. He had been a resident of Claude most of his life. Sports was Jason’s passion, but he especially loved softball, baseball and golf. He was a great athlete and worked with Little League in Claude. He was a people person and never met a stranger. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Claude.

He is preceded in death by his mother in 2006; and his grandparents, Alonzo and Gladys Cartwright of Wellington and Emmet and Venora Coleman of Canyon.

Survivors include his father, John Cartwright and stepmother Judy of Claude; two brothers Jeffrey Cartwright and wife Pam of Princeton and Jay Brett Cartwright and wife Laurie of Claude; a stepsister Natosha Lyn Anglin of Claude; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be sent to Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch or City Church of Amarillo.
