James Leon McMahan

James Leon McMahan, 77, of Amarillo died Sunday, July 29, 2012.

A memorial gathering will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, located 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mr. McMahan was born Sept. 24, 1934, to Joseph and Goldie McMahan. He had a career as a freelance photographer.

Survivors include a son, Clayton McMahan and wife Angie of Amarillo; two sisters, Patsy Hightower of Canyon and Betty Torres of California; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
