Whitney Michelle Hightower and Kyle Robert Ball were married on June 9, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Panhandle. The bride is the daughter of Sara and Steven Hightower of Panhandle, and the granddaughter of Louise and Bob Mulkey of Panhandle, and Patsy Hightower of Canyon and the late Dan Hightower. Great-grandparents are Sybil and Glynn D Harrell of Amarillo.

Parents of the groom are Frank and Nan Ball of Weatherford, Texas. He is the grandson of Regina Ball, and the late Frank R. Ball Sr., of Mogadore, Ohio, and Dr. William Grigor, DVM, and the late Wanda Grigor of Hartville, Ohio.

Family and friends came from all over Texas, New Mexico, Ohio, New York, and Tennessee. They celebrated the event at the rehearsal dinner at the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo, a formal reception immediately following the wedding in Panhandle, and later at an informal dance at the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo.

Bridesmaids wore strapless, knee-length turquoise dresses and cowboy boots. Attendants were friend Brittany Henderson of Canyon, sister-in-law Ashley Hightower of Amarillo, friends Alyson Hall and Megan Stovall of Amarillo, and cousins Natalie and Jenna Brown of Lubbock. Niece of the bride, Riley Hightower, was carried by her mother, Ashley. Guest book attendants were cousins Emily and Caitlin Mulkey and Harper and Sawyer Mulkey.

Groomsmen wore black tuxedos with turquoise vests and ties, and cowboy boots. They were brother Ethan Hall of Weatherford, Texas, brother-in-law Robert Hightower of Amarillo, friends Tyler Hall of Amarillo, Perry Kelley of Stephenville, Bradley White of North Richland Hills, and Shane Taylor of Grapevine. Ushers were cousins Sean Hightower and Charlie Bruce.

Whitney and Kyle honeymooned in Nassau, Bahamas, and reside in Amarillo where she is a chiropractor’s assistant at Narrell Family Chiropractic, and he is a credit analyst at First Capital Bank of Texas.
