Gary Lynn Eller
1958 - 2022

Gary Lynn Eller, son of Lottie and George Eller was called home on Oct. 18, 2022. Born in Pampa, on Sept. 9, 1958, Gary grew up in Panhandle where he eventually raised his own family, established Panhandle Welding and Fabrication, was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation, took pride in cultivating the earth through ranching, and was always there to lend a helping hand to his neighbors. In his younger years he in enjoyed motorcross, bronc riding, team roping, fishing, country western dancing and doing all the things good ole country boys like to do.

Once, he met Becky, his wife of 30 years, everything changed though his ornery side never quite went away. Gary settled down to raise his two daughters Shannon and Gennifer, doing his best to instill family oriented and hardworking values as well as kind hearts, strong minds, and a good sense of humor. All in all, Gary was a hardworking, strong willed, kind and loving, God fearing, salt of the earth kind of man.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lottie and George Eller; his older sister, Georganna Eller; and his uncle, Ray Eller.

Gary is survived by his wife Rebecca Eller; his daughters, Shannon Eller of Round Rock, Texas, and Gennifer Eller of Panhandle; his stepson Michael Caldwell and wife, Libby of Smithville, Texas; and his two grandchildren, Rose and Alex Caldwell.

The family visitation will be Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Minton Chatwell Funeral Home, located at 510 Main Street in Panhandle.

The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at the Church of Christ located in Panhandle. Burial will follow at Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
