OLTON — Don Brooks, 75, of Olton died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014.

Services were held Dec. 22, 2014, in First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Larry Holder, Mr. Steve Spain and Mr. Nick Taylor officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with arrangements by Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton.

Robert Don Brooks was born Aug. 22, 1939, in Dumas to Robert and Mary Wilson Brooks. In 2002, he married Alicegene Sherry in Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Amber Ford of Clarendon, Cassie Elliot of Panhandle and Taylor Hill of Blanchard, Okla.; three sisters, Frances L. Brooks of Fort Worth, Betty Sue Brooks of Canton, Ga., and Judye Derr and of Canton, Ga.; and six grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Gentiva Hospice, 1717 Norfolk Ave., Lubbock, TX 79416; or Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 1087, Olton, TX 79064.
