SPEARMAN — Dixie Pool, 69, died Friday, March 7, 2014.

Services were held Thursday, March 13, 2014 in First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Spearman with the Rev. Danny Hendricks officiating. Arrangements were by Good Samaritan Funeral Service and Chapel of Booker.

Mrs. Pool was born Sept. 11, 1944, in Memphis to Jeff and Lola Watkins Melton. She married Donald “Donnie” Pool on June 1, 1962.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Lenny Pool of Ada, Okla., Jeff Pool of Panhandle and Trevor Pool of Enid, Okla.; a daughter, Donda Lozano of Spearman; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
