The PHS class of 1967 will be celebrating their forty-fifth class reunion during the Homecoming weekend of Sept. 28 and 29.  The class will first meet at the Mexican Pile-On Dinner hosted by the Panhandle Chamber of Commerce on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the High School cafeteria.  Next they will go to the football game and once again sit in the stands to cheer on the Panhandle Panthers!

After the football game they will participate in the annual Retro Main Street Drag where they can either join the cars dragging Main Street or watch from the “safety” of the War Memorial gazebo.

Saturday morning at 9 a.m., they will meet at the PHS library for a Homecoming reception and to receive a tour of the new school facilities hosted by Superintendent Blair Brown.  Afterward they will reconvene at the Carson County Ag Barn at 11:30 a.m. for the annual Museum Day Barbeque where tables will be reserved for their class.  Those who are interested can tour and listen to the renovation plans for the historic Panhandle Inn after the barbeque. Afternoon snacks and more visiting will continue at 2 p.m. in the home of Janie (Beddingfield) Plumlee, 1309 Maple Street. At that time a memorial service for deceased class members will be held with a balloon lift off and remembrances.

For more details, please call Marsha (Urbanczyk) Neel at 830-613-5037; Janie (Beddingfield) Plumlee at 806-274-1318; or Junior Choate at 806- 537 – 4262.  Anyone with any ties to this class is cordially invited to join us!!!!
