The Carson County Historical Commission will hold a meeting on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at approximately 8 p.m., immediately following the meeting of the Carson County Square House Museum Board of Trustees. The meeting will be held in the Hazlewood Education Building of the Museum located at 5th and Elsie Streets in Panhandle.

Programs report for 2012, Historical Marker applications in Carson County, the Texas Land Heritage program, the Carson County Historical Marker Brochure, and oral history interviews will be among the items discussed according to Linda Germany, chairman of the Carson County Historical Commission.
