Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Bell Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Logan officiating. Burial will be at Panhandle Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
Bette was born on Nov. 20, 1939, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to Sloan and Rosetta Glover.
Bette had owned and operated Pink Kitten Ceramic Shop in Panhandle. She loved making people happy. She was a real estate agent for many years. She had been the librarian for over 25 years at First Baptist Church in Panhandle and served in the food pantry there for 15 years. She took a lot of pride in how she presented herself and looked at all times.
Bette was a member of Bell Avenue Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, J. Frank Davis; her mother, Rosetta Glover; her father, Sloan Glover; and daughter, Rhonda Diane Davis.
Survivors include her three sons, Randy Davis and wife Lynn of San Antonio, Rusty Davis and wife Annie of Lonoke, Ark., and Drew Davis and wife Melody of Amarillo; brother, Bob Glover and wife Beth of McKinney, Texas; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd in Amarillo.
