Amber Virginia Waite Tomlinson

Services were held Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 in Palo Duro Cowboy Church with Tadd Mann, pastor of Palo Duro Cowboy Church, officiating. Burial was in Dreamland Cemetery with arrangements by Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

Amber was born March 10, 1982, to Audie Waite and Vickie Hardaway. She grew up in Canyon and graduated from Canyon High School in 2001. She was kind and had a compassionate heart for anyone in need. Amber married her high school sweetheart, Corey Tomlinson, on Sept. 15, 2006. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and loved her dogs, Little John and Chester. Amber was very active as a member of Palo Duro Cowboy Church.

Survivors include her husband, Corey Tomlinson; her mother, Vickie Hardaway and husband Bill; her father, Audie Waite and wife Kim; a brother, Tristan Waite; a sister, Nicole Johnson and husband, David; three nieces, McKayla and Keely Johnston and Morgan Tomlinson; two nephews, Lawson Johnston and Kross Tomlinson; and a brother-in-law, Chase Tomlinson and wife Lindsey; mother-in-law, Judy Bertrand Tomlinson; and grandfather-in-law, C.E. “Buster” Bertrand.

The family suggests memorials be to Palo Duro Cowboy Church, 12200 W. U.S. Highway 60, Canyon, TX 79015.
