Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Plainview Cemetery. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel with the Rev. Jim Benton officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.

Marie was born June 13, 1923, in Rotan. Her family moved to Plainview when she was only a toddler. She married Bob Daniel, the love of her life, on June 23, 1946. Marie had a love for her church and to watch her family play sports. She enjoyed cooking, playing bridge, golf, bowling and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Elene Thompson, Elda Parks, Betty West and Corene Zulauf; and a brother killed in World War II.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Daniel; three sons, Bob Daniel III and wife Kym of Amarillo, Gary Lynn Daniel and wife Cheryl of Amarillo and Monte Joe Daniel and wife Mechelle of Lubbock; a sister, Mary Alice Tucker; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

The family suggests memorials be to Coulter Road Baptist Church, 4108 S. Coulter St., Amarillo, TX 79109.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
