Panhandle– On Thursday, July 30, 2015, one plea took place in Carson County, Texas.

Luke Inman, the District Attorney for the 100th Judicial District, assisted by Greg Buckley, prosecuted the case for the State of Texas, with the Honorable Judge Stuart Messer presiding.

1. Monica Sisneros pleaded true to allegations listed in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Guilt and was sentenced to four years in the Institutional Division of Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the third degree felony offense of unlawful use of a criminal instrument.

On Oct. 15, 2012, Sisneros originally pleaded guilty to offense that occurred on Jan. 30, 2012, in Carson County, when she was arrested by DPS Trooper Darrin Bridges.

The State filed the motion to adjudicate on May 12, 2015, alleging nine violations of community supervision.

Sisneros is also required to pay $271 in court costs to Carson County, a $500 fine, and $783.10 in restitution.
